Pininfarina and Evergrande Group have signed a strategic agreement for the design development of a new range of vehicles. This agreement is in addition to the ongoing contract for the design development of different models.
The main goal of the new strategic cooperation between Pininfarina and Evergrande is to jointly design and develop new energy vehicles, making use of Pininfarina’s experience in whole vehicle development and R&D, as well as both companies’ resources.
“The purpose of our cooperation is for Evergrande to become the most innovative, competitive and sustainable manufacturer of new energy vehicles in the world,” said Hui Ka Yan, chairman, Evergrande Group. “We cannot think of a better partner than Pininfarina to design a new range of beautiful and innovative models for the Hengchi car brand.”
