Renault has announced that the updated Koleos will be equipped with a new range of engines. This includes two new diesel engines, which offer more performance and lower emissions than the unit they replace.
The 1.8-liter 150ps Blue dCi 150 is available in front-wheel drive only and emits 143g/km of CO₂, while the larger 2-liter 190ps Blue dCi 190 returns 150g/km of CO₂.
Both engines have been tuned for greater refinement and stronger real-world acceleration, with maximum torque of 340Nm and 380Nm (for the Blue dCi 150 and the Blue dCi 190 respectively) being delivered at 1,750rpm. The units are paired with an X-Tronic continuously variable transmission.
