SsangYong Motors has introduced its new Korando. The C-segment SUV is available either as an uprated 1.6-liter diesel engine or a 1.5-liter GDI-turbo gasoline engine.
The newly developed Euro 6D-T compliant diesel engine produces 136ps of peak power and 324Nm maximum torque. It achieves fuel economy of up to 4.8 l/100km on the WLTP combined cycle and achieves 0-100km/h in 12.01 seconds.
In future, the Korando will also be paired with a Euro 6D-T compliant 1.5 GDI-turbo gasoline engine, which produces peak power of 163ps and 280Nm of torque between 1,500rpm and 4,500rpm.
The engines will be paired to the latest Aisin third-generation 6-speed automatic transmission.
