Thermamax, a maker of insulation and protective products, will demonstrate how it is preparing future-oriented solutions for electrified powertrains at this year’s Engine Expo North America.
The company’s new high-temperature-resistant battery housings are designed to protect against faulty EV batteries. As faulty lithium-ion batteries can reach temperatures of more than 1,000°C, the T-max Battery Housing keeps the temperature under control.
It is just one of a number of insulation and protective products the company has on display at Engine Expo North America 2018.
