SEAT has expanded its performance range with the Leon Cupra R ST. Equipped with the company’s 2-liter 300ps engine, the limited-run Leon can be specced to produce 370ps, making it the most powerful SEAT yet.
Only 150 of the special edition Leons will be available in the UK market. While the hatchback is fitted with the 2-liter TSI engine as standard, SEAT is able to upgrade the powerplant’s peak output to 370ps with the addition of an ABT tuning pack.
The 300PS Leon Cupra R ST’s turbocharged, direct-injection petrol engine is linked to a 7-speed DSG transmission, pushing the hatchback to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 250km/h.
