Hyundai Motor Company will unveil the Sonata 1.6-liter turbo at the 2019 Seoul Motor Show.
Expected to be launched this year, the new Sonata will be equipped with a 182ps Smart Stream T-GDi gasoline engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
This new Sonata variant also features a range of design enhancements to complement the vehicle’s performance capabilities. The exterior of the Sonata 1.6 Turbo is highlighted by Hyundai’s first ‘Parametric Jewel’ grille, a wide design element which is flanked by air ducts beneath the headlights to channel air efficiently through the fender and across the face of the wheel to reduce drag.
At the rear there is a wing-shaped rear spoiler that aids stability at higher speeds, an exclusive rear fender, and twin-tip exhaust mufflers.
The Seoul Motor Show runs till April 7.
