Polestar is working with Plugsurfing to make electric vehicle charging more convenient in Europe ahead of the Polestar 2 customer deliveries.
The Plugsurfing RFID tag, standard on all European Polestar 2s, lets owners reduce the number of apps, accounts and authentication processes required to charge their vehicle with charging service providers.
Customers can register an account with Plugsurfing to use one payment and authentication service.
Google Maps is integrated into the Polestar 2 and is optimized for electric vehicle owners with advice about charging infrastructure and how to utilize Plugsurfing’s services.
