The team at Brabus has developed performance enhancements for the two-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine that sits under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG A35.
Comprising the plug-and-play Brabus PowerXtra module, the PowerXtra B35 kit supplies the engine electronics with high-performance mapping for controlling the injection and ignition, while increasing the boost pressure.
The kit increases the output of the turbo motor by 44ps and adds 60Nm of torque. The end result is an output of 355ps and peak torque of 460Nm.
Brabus has also introduced a higher power variant. The PowerXtra + B 35 S system will increase engine output to 370ps at 6,300rpm, and includes a high-performance rear muffler optimized for exhaust flow.
