Lion Smart, a subsidiary of battery pack manufacturer Lion E-Mobility, has entered a strategic partnership with Hofer Powertrain Group to accelerate the market launch of innovative battery systems, the companies say. The cooperation focuses on the development of small series and the industrialization of immersion-cooled battery systems with high market potential.

Hofer Powertrain will contribute its extensive expertise in the development, validation and rapid implementation of battery systems tailored to specific customer requirements, shaping the automotive market with a range of technological innovations.
Lion Smart will bring its immersion-cooled battery technology and modular platform solutions to the partenrship, enabling flexible scaling from prototype to series production. The partnership will also create a strong network of OEMs and industry partners.
