The all-new AC Cobra GT Roadster has been unveiled in London, UK, complete with a V8 engine, an extruded aluminum spaceframe chassis and carbon-composite bodywork.
Housed inside the 250 production examples will be a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8; customers can option their AC Cobra GT Roadster with a supercharger strapped to the same powertrain. The NA configuration outputs 460ps and 570Nm of torque, while the supercharged version delivers a peak figure of 663ps and 780Nm.
Delivering drive to the rear wheels is either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic gearbox with shifting provided via paddles mounted on the steering wheel.

AC Cars started with a clean-sheet design. Following nearly four years of development and a multi-million-euro investment, the OEM has delivered a modern vehicle that stays true to the AC Cobra produced in the 1960s.
The new chassis has a wheelbase of 2,570mm and the car benefits from a curb weight of under 1,450kg. Fully road legal, the AC Cobra GT Roadster comes in left- and right-hand-drive configurations.
