Role & Responsibilities:
To carry out dyno and vehicle based testing activities, data processing and analysis in order to calibrate the powertrain and vehicle control systems and support the calibration development and validation in order to release of the calibrations into production
Duties
To support testing activities in order to support the delivery of work packets as part of internal or external projects
To carry out validation testing in preparation for the production release of the relevant control system calibration
To support liaison with relevant departments to coordinate testing activities
To support undergraduate students on placement in the department
To ensure validity of test results and
To prepare technical reports, presentations and papers
To support perform hot/cold climate and high altitude development to meet customer objectives
To support process development tasks which contribute to technical capability of the C&C department
To liaise with customers and program suppliers
Qualifications
A Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or a HNC/D with relevant experience
Skills and Experience
Good PC/IT literacy
Effective communicator
Good organisational skills
Valid UK driving license

Methodical and organised
Self-motivated and confident
Ability to work well under pressure and to strict time constraints
Flexibility with working hours and willingness to work overseas and to travel to customer sites
